The governors of the Yaroslavl Region and the Perm Territory discussed cooperation in the field of tourism
The development of tourism cooperation was discussed today by the head of the region Mikhail Evraev and the governor of the Perm Territory Dmitry Makhonin during a meeting on the VKS.
Within the framework of cooperation, mutual business missions of representatives of the tourism industry have already taken place, special tourist routes are being formed taking into account the Yaroslavl – Perm air service.
A dialogue has been established between the relevant departments on the development of bonus programs for travelers, the organization of information and press tours. The parties agreed to strengthen advertising campaigns.
– It is very important to increase the awareness of our regions, – said Mikhail Evraev. – It is necessary that you know that Tunoshna airport is located between Yaroslavl and Kostroma, almost in the middle, and you can visit not only the cities of the Golden Ring of Russia, but also Ivanovo and others. In turn, we are ready to use television resources, the Internet, and the media to tell about the Perm Region. It is important that people know about Yaroslavl's air links with Perm, and about the tourist opportunities of the regions.
Dmitry Makhonin noted that it is planned to expand the geography of flights from Perm and the model of connecting flights. In particular, direct flights to Krasnoyarsk will be launched, which will also be interesting for residents of the Yaroslavl region and neighboring regions.
During a visit to Perm last year, the Yaroslavl delegation presented the tourism potential of the region. Tour operators expressed interest in the development of the Lugovoi and Medvezhye tracts as promising destinations for road trips, the national route "Yaroslavl – the land of cities", and the interactive program "Journey to the homeland of the Yaroslavl tile". The emphasis was placed on organizing trips to small towns, which are part of the Association of the most beautiful Villages and Towns.
