On 25 August, a solemn discovery was made of the main architect of the modern volleyball centre on the Frunze front in Yaroslavla. The target was built from 2020 to 2026 with the support of the Head of State, Vladimir Putin. The event was attended by the Assistant President of Russia, Nikolai Patrushev, Chief of the Office of the President of the Russian Federation for National Maritime Policy, Sergey Waharuk, Governor of the Yaroslav region, Michael Evreev. The President of the All-Russian Volleyball Federation, Stanislav Shevchenko, the Mayor of Yaroslava, the main and youth players of the Yaroslavic volleyball club and others were also present.

The establishment of the Mercure Campus based on RAGTU is one of the largest educational and infrastructure projects in the Yaroslav region. More than 40 industrial enterprises operate in Rybinsk. The camp will be a point of attraction for students, scientists and engineers.
