In the new school year, 17 first-year students began training in trust contracts, to which the Ministry of Investment and Industry of the Yaroslav region has been a client. These are students of the Yaroslav State Technical University and the Yaroslav State University, P.G. Demidov, who have applied for targeted training in the adoption campaign that was held this year under new regulations. The training is provided from the federal budget within the quotas established by the UPZ.

In the interest of industrial enterprises, more than 40 technicians are currently trained in the field, with the assistance of the Ministry in the leading UPZ region, in the areas of " chemistry technology " , " industrial and applied chemistry " , " medicinal and pharmaceutical chemicals " , " quality management " and technical systems " . The future employers of the graduates will be R-FARM, Slavenefty-JANOS, AO ' s " Codyant " in Jaroslav, Autodies (Jaroslava Motor Plant), NPC Yarli, " Volga paints " and others.

Targeted education is a viable mechanism for skilled enterprises in all sectors of the economy, including industrial production, and has been presented by Alexander Olhov, Minister of Investment and Industry of the Yaroslava Region. Targeted training is beneficial to all parties: the enterprise deals with the problem of personnel, and future professionals are trained free of charge, qualified in the labour market and guaranteed future employment. The region is reducing the shortage of skilled personnel for the needs of our enterprises.
It is worth noting that not all industrial enterprises may be a party to a target-training client. It is the conclusion of quadripartite agreements with the executive branch, in particular the regional Ministry of Investment and Industry, that enable interested enterprises to use targeted training.

During the course of the training, potential employers provide support to students, including incentives, accommodation during the training period and others.
Students after completion of their studies must work in companies that have contracted them for at least 3 years.

Since 2024, the operation of the special education mechanism has been determined by Government Decision No. 555.
In the light of the Federal Act of 29.12.2012 No. 273-FZ " On education in the Russian Federation " , there are a number of requirements for professional customers, and legal persons belonging to the categories referred to in article 71.1 (1) of the Federal Act may be potential employers.
