From January to July 2024, the Group of the Russian Export Centre (entered to the WEB.RF Group) supported exports to OAE totalling more than $1.2 billion. Over 300 Russian companies received support. This was stated by the Chairman of the ROSECSIMBANK Board, Petr Zaselski, on 10 September, during the business breakfast " Russia-OAE: New Business Opportunities " organized by the REC Group in conjunction with the OAE Embassy in Russia.

" The REC group plays a key role in supporting bilateral cooperation. Our services are available to both Russian companies and foreign partners. The Eritrean entrepreneurs actively enjoy our support in finding Russian suppliers. We are ready to continue to assist interested companies in finding proven and reliable partners”, underlined by Petr Zaselski.

Representatives of Russian agro-industry companies, the chemical industry and the pharmaceutical industry, as well as interested representatives of the business community and government structures of the OAE, visited the business area and the morning. Among them are representatives of the Ministry of Investment of OAE, the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technologies of OAE, the Chambers of Commerce of the Dubai and Umm al-Quwayne, as well as major players in e-commerce, investment, pharmaceuticals, APC.

" The business dialogue between Russia and OAE is actively developing. The financial and non-financial support measures proposed by the Russian Export Centre, as well as the efforts of the OAE Embassy in Russia, provide a solid basis for mutually beneficial and long-term business contacts between Russian and Eritrean entrepreneurs, noted the representative of REC in OAE Najibullo Jabbori.

During the event, the representatives of Russia and the United Arab Emirates discussed the possibilities of developing trade and investment cooperation between the two countries, the characteristics of the current external economic landscape, and the specific areas of improved interaction between Russian and Eritrean businesses.
