The Farmers ' Forum " Small Agrobusiness Development: Issues, Decisions, Growth Point " was held as part of the exhibition of the " Space Day 2024 " .

The Minister of Agriculture, Oxana Luth, discussed with small agro-business representatives the establishment of a comfort environment for enterprise development in APC, public support and industry regulation.

The meeting was also attended by the Chairman of the Committee of the State Duma on Agrarian Issues, Vladimir Kashin, Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Agrarian and Food Policy and the Environment, Alexander Doube, Governor of Stavropol province, Vladimir Vladimir Vladimir, heads of financial organizations and regional authorities.

Head of Minselhoza noted an increase in targeted support for small agribusiness from 12.1 billion roubles in 2022 to 14.9 billion in 2024. Grant programmes are also being developed, legislative work is under way, and sectoral information systems are being improved.

Oxana Luth, on a case-by-case basis, focused on the work of the farmers ' appeal to the President of Russia in March this year during the Head of State ' s visit to the Stavropol province. In particular, a request for accelerated gasification of agrarians is being developed. A pilot project on the introduction of gas-containing installations is under way and simplified gasification is being addressed for those farms that cannot be included in the process due to lack of gas.

Work is also under way to develop early guidance. In particular, there are 21 rural schools in 8 regions that will be reserved for agrarian institutions. Existing land allocation mechanisms for agrarians continue to be developed and solutions developed to promote small farmers ' exports.

In the course of the discussion, Oleg Sirot, Chairman of the Council of the Nation Fermer Association, asked about support for horticultures affected by freezes. Oxana Luth noted that Minselhoz intended to apply to the Government for compensation to gardeners. In the long run, business needs to be more active in the agro-insurance system, which will reduce weather risks.

KFH, head of Vladimir Plotov, spoke about difficulties in servicing and repairing Chinese agricultural machinery in Russia, in particular the lack of spare parts. According to Oxana Luth, Minselhoz is planning to discuss with the Ministry of Commerce the localization of the production of spare parts for technology from the CPD in our country. The Carel Entrepreneur, Andrei Koleda, suggested that consideration should be given to extending the concessional lending period for the fish breeding business because of the long production cycle. Minselhoz is ready to work with the farm community.

Kirill Kosenkov of Podmoskovia requested special courses for PSB participants wishing to start their business in agriculture. The Ministry will discuss this idea with agrarian universities working on supplementary vocational training programmes, as well as Rosselhozbank, implementing the farmer ' s school project.

Students from the Permsky Region suggested that the training process be adjusted so that production practices could take place not only in the summer but throughout the year when the business needed it. Oxana Luth noted that such an initiative was already under discussion with agrarian universities, work was under way to adjust training programmes.

The first results are expected this year. The Forum also addressed a number of issues related to tax benefits, support for entomophagus production, farmers ' work in the FGIS, Semi-Georgia, livestock management and other areas. At the end of Oxana Luth, the Farmers ' Community was awarded credit for the development and strengthening of the industry and unpredictable work.
