Popular activities of self-employed: taxi, marketing and advertising, construction and repair, beauty (manicure and pedicure) and sales of own production.

Among rare activities: animal vaccination services, cinema and licensing.

The average age of self-employed is 36 years. The top of the " young " constituent entities of the Russian Federation is Tumenska, Below City, Ryazan, Om and St. Petersburg. The average age is 34 years.

The most popular activities among the self-employed minors are courier services, marketing and advertising, IT sphere, and the sale of their own production. Senior-generation: rental of apartments, taxi services, repair, marketing and counselling.

The special tax regime " Occupational Income Tax " has been in place since 2019. First, it operated in four pilot regions, and now applies throughout the Russian Federation. Both Russian citizens and other States members of EEA and Ukraine may become self-employed.

Project partners (credit organizations and electronic space operators) are actively involved in the promotion and implementation of project objectives. Through the open API, they integrate the functionality of the Mobile Application My Tax into their software products. This decision has made tax administration processes unmarked and simple for self-employed people. 111 partners are now connected to the platform. More than 38 per cent of all self-employed income is recorded through partner software products without the use of my tax application. In other words, NPA contributors can reflect income in regular programme products, pay taxes, generate income certificates, etc.

The project is continuously analysing feedback from self-employed persons. As a result of the proposals, the Russian Federation ' s users are improving their services. Creating a comfortable environment for small and medium-sized businesses is one of the areas of the national project " Small and medium-sized entrepreneurship and supporting the individual business initiative " .
