In Russia, more than 6.7 million women work as IPs or self-employed
In Russia, there are 4.22 million individual entrepreneurs, of whom 1.75 million are women. Women ' s entrepreneurship among IPs has been relatively stable in recent years, accounting for 41.5%, in a study by the SME Corporation, which is devoted to women ' s entrepreneurship.
As self-employed, 4.96 million women are employed, 44.5% of the total number of self-employed citizens.
" Since the beginning of the year, some 317,000 IPs have been created by women. Interest has increased in the areas of employment and recruitment (+32%), construction (+30%), IT(+29%). The average age of business from the time of registration for business community representatives is 5 years 9 months, the average annual income is 5.3 million roubles. He added that IP women were more likely to receive State support, almost every second, because they were more willing to share their experiences in applying for such measures and were therefore more aware. The percentage of male support recipients is traditionally 7-10% lower.
IP women are more involved in such industries as social services (83 per cent), other personal services (77 per cent), clothing (71 per cent), travel agents (70 per cent), education (69 per cent), law and bukhuchet (65 per cent), textile production (63 per cent), insurance (60 per cent), veterinary activities (60 per cent), employment and recruitment (59 per cent) and others.
Among the self-employed, the fields of manicure and pedicure (99 per cent), cosmetology (97 per cent), nanny (97%), stilists and hairdressers (92 per cent), clothing (91 per cent) are almost entirely occupied. Lower percentage of self-employed women in cars (3 per cent), plumbing (4 per cent), repair of household appliances (4 per cent).
The most experienced entrepreneur for more than 100 years is 3 IPs and 2 self-employed. Among girls up to 35 years of age, 446,000 IPs and 2.4 million self-employed persons are employed.
The development of small and medium-sized businesses is being carried out within the framework of the " Maloe and Middle Entrepreneurship " project, which was launched by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin.
