The Jaroslava Municipal District will have a modern waste management complex

Once built, the existing Skokovo site will not change or expand.

♪ The aim of the reconstruction is to bring the Scococococopo area into full compliance with existing legislation and integrate it into a single waste management facility. Projects for both polygon rehabilitation and the construction of a new waste management facility will be mandatory for environmental testing and will meet all environmental standards and requirements of environmental legislation, as well as for the Minister of Forestry and Environmental Management of the Yaroslava Region of Natalia Belyaev. - The establishment of a new infrastructure will be an important step towards the realization of the transition to a closed-circuit economy set by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, in the national project on " Environmental well-being " .

Implementation of the concession agreement is planned in two stages. The first phase includes the construction of a waste management facility with a waste disposal facility with a capacity of 60,000 tons per year, which will provide 100 per cent sorting of TCBs and a disposal facility with a capacity of 160,000 tons per year to dispose of 35 per cent of the waste. The second phase involves the reconstruction of the existing Skokovo site, with a capacity of at least 325,000 tons per year and a life of 25 years from the date of entry.

There are currently five waste disposal stations in the region that meet the target of the national waste management project of 61 per cent.
