The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia summarized the work of regional microfinance and guarantee organizations during the first half of 2024. The total amount of business funds raised exceeded 180 billion roubles.

" By thanking the tools of the National Guarantee System, we have equal access to credit for business throughout the country, including for start-up entrepreneurs and self-employed. Through microfinance organizations in the first half of 2024, business received almost 12,000 micro loans worth more than 26 billion roubles. At the same time, 9,000 sponsorships of regional guarantee organizations were granted to the business, which allowed entrepreneurs to obtain 155 billion roubles of credit.” The Deputy Minister for Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Tatiana Ilumshnikov, informed the business.

According to the Deputy Minister, equal access to financial instruments is ensured not only by reducing barriers to different categories of entrepreneurs, but also through their geographical accessibility. Loans can be obtained from 140 State microfinance organizations in 88 regions of the country, sponsorship from 91 regional guarantee organizations in 89 regions.

The regions were leaders in the number of micro loans issued by the Krasnodar province (505), the Republic of Tatarstan (461), Rostov province (427), Kyrov province (342), the Republic of Crime (314). Financial support is the Krasnodar province (almost 1.4 billion roubles), the Republic of Tatarstan (1.1 billion roubles), the Rostov region (1 billion roubles), the Chuwash Republic (781 million roubles) and the Udmurth Republic (623 million roubles).

Regional sponsorship leaders -- Sverdlov province (781), Rostov province (609), Moscow region (448), Republic of Tatarstan (383), Primoros (308).

Public microfinance organizations provide micro loans on concessional terms. Credits are granted for up to three years up to 5 million roubles. IFO pays particular attention to supporting self-employed and start-up entrepreneurs. Regional guarantee organizations provide security support at a shortfall of up to 70 per cent of the credit.
