With financial support under the concessional lending programme, 1,764 small and medium-sized hotel enterprises reconstructed and constructed 2,700 rooms in 2024 to accommodate nearly 8,000 guests.

The hotel business has gained new momentum in the growth of domestic tourism. Based on the results of the study " Yandex Travels " , the improvement in the past two years has been observed by 45 per cent of the hotels working in Russia. 75 per cent of respondents reported an increase in the number of orders, 44 per cent began to develop through new sales channels, and 17 per cent were able to increase staff.

" All these data indicate that the request for construction, the renovation of hotel rooms is only increasing. Entrepreneurs were able to obtain support in dealing with this issue under the concessional banking programme 1764. In 2024, there were 68 credit contracts with a total value of 4.6 billion roubles for SMEs operating in this area. At the same time, 78 per cent, or 4.1 billion roubles, attracted by entrepreneurs for investment purposes, notes the Deputy Minister for Economic Development, Tatiana Ilyushnikov.

Financial support was provided to small and medium-sized businesses from 28 regions. Most of the credit contracts concluded were in Moscow, Krasnodar province and Moscow. 35 per cent of the credit contracts were concluded for the renovation and repair of hotel facilities, 31 per cent for the acquisition of buildings, premises and land, 22 per cent for the construction of hotels and recreation boards.

The small credit programme 1764 is being implemented through the national project " Small and Medium Enterprise " .
