Tatiana Ilushnikov: The Presidential Management Training Programme needs to be updated

According to the Deputy Minister for Economic Development of Russia, this is necessary to meet the challenges of the Russian economy until 2030.

Under the chairmanship of the Deputy Minister for Economic Development of Russia, Tatiana Ilushnikova, another meeting of the Governmental Commission for the Training of Management Personnel for the Russian Federation People ' s Economic Organizations was held.

The main themes of the meeting were the outcome of the Presidential Programme in five years, its extension and the development strategy until 2030.

" The Presidential Programme aims to improve the skills of Russian enterprise managers from the real economy. Participants receive the relevant knowledge and competencies needed to develop and scale up their projects, as well as the opportunity to engulf themselves, to find new business partners, and to receive feedback from practitioners. Since 2019, almost 10,000 professionals have been trained in the programme " , Tatiana Ilushnikov noted.

The Presidential Programme examines various aspects of enterprise development: financial management, strategic management, marketing, logistics. Participants use the knowledge gained in developing their own project, which they protect at the end of the training.

Graduates may also take part in foreign fellowships. This format allows professionals to establish business contacts to develop mutually beneficial economic relations, to acquire intercultural skills, to study the productive culture and management experience of colleagues from other countries.

" About 7 per cent of the presidential programme graduates take this opportunity. We see tangible results from this form of interaction. For example, between 2022 and 2023 internships took place in enterprises of Uzbekistan, Turkey, Iran, Kazakhstan, Egypt, China. This resulted in 115 agreements totalling 680 million roubles, with the expected profits of Russian companies exceeding 1.6 billion roubles reported by Tatiana Ilushnikov.

Another issue under consideration is the extension of the Presidential Programme to 2030. This proposal was welcomed by all members of the Commission.

" Proposals for a strategy for the development of the Presidential Programme for the period up to 2030 have been prepared and are scheduled to be discussed at the next meeting of the expert council of the Commission in September " , underlined by Alexei Bunkin, Director of FBU, FREFC.
