Russia and Mongolia are developing a number of new forward-looking projects in the economy and industry, including the construction of a trans-Mongol gas pipeline from Russia to China and the modernization of the Ulaanbaatar railway, declared by President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation.


In anticipation of his visit to Mongolia, Putin gave a written interview to the Mongolian newspaper Aonodor, the text was published on the Cremlin website.
