The Russian Export Centre (REC) intends to increase the representation of creative industries at the Fair Festival in Russia, particularly by promoting the computer game industry. The Director-General of the REC, Veronica Nikishin, spoke about this in a conversation with the TAS correspondent in the city of Chandu (Sichuan Province).

"The creative industry is a very important segment of the market," Nikishin said. - We see a big niche for our computer game producers, in Russia it's a very powerful industry, and we're already considering how to promote these games, she said.

Hendirector REC said that animation products from the Soyuzmultphilm studio and the Ricky group (Fixiki Project) were presented at the current Chandu festival. Their adapted multhics are broadcast on a large screen during the festival fair.

"The heroes of these multilms are perfectly understandable by the Chinese audience, the values and meanings that they have in the children's mind, identical in Russia and China, this is goodness, positive and laughing," "Nichin noted. "This is our first experience of synergizing our product festival with creative industries," she said.

In addition to this development, REC plans to present future tourism and sport festivals. "The culture of sports and healthy lifestyles is very close to the people of Russia and China, said Nikishin. The touristic wealth of our regions is what we would like to show on our next festivals."

Festival Fair is taking place from 11 to 17 November in the middle of Chandu. The event is organized by REC. 130 Russian producers represent food, cosmetics, people ' s fisheries and many other products. Russian suppliers meet with Chinese business partners and discuss joint projects. The fair also presents a rich cultural programme with people ' s groups, cinema and multh films.
