The Government of the Jaroslava Region is strengthening partnerships with the rivers and investors in the APC area
During the XXIX Petersburg International Economic Forum, the delegation of the Jaroslava Region, headed by the Governor, Michael Evraev, holds a series of working meetings on the development of agro-industry and consumer markets.
♪ Involving investment in agro-industry is one of our main tasks. This has a direct impact on food security, industrial growth and tax revenues. In 2025, agricultural producers in the region produced 73.9 billion roubles. We will continue to support investors who are willing to work in this field, said Michael Euroev.
The Governor of the Jaroslava Region held a working meeting with the Director of Public Relations, H5 Boris Ogarkov. The parties discussed key areas of cooperation that contribute to the development of the consumer market and increased availability of food products for the inhabitants of the region, as well as the outcomes of the interaction.
In the Jaroslava region, more than 3,000 staff members are employed in the X5 Group. Thirty-two new shops will be opened in the region this year: 23 Pioterska and 9 Chijik networks. Some 500 jobs will be created.
♪ The development of regional retail trade is a key area of X5. The opening of new stores has always had a social effect: residents have the opportunity to acquire quality and fresh goods near the house at affordable prices. Our small- and medium-sized business support initiatives not only allow SMEs to access the federal reteiler, but also develop shops offering local production products to the people, have noted Boris Ogarkov.
A working meeting was also held between Mikhail Evravev and Director-General of AO, Black Trap Company Group Alexei Thursday, at which the parties discussed the possibility of an investment project in the region.
By 2025, the sale of Black Trap in the Yaroslava region doubled from 2023 to 1.2 billion roubles. Lemonades take the lead, and since 2024, the company has also expanded the presence of coconut beverages, child meals, cookies and dry breakfasts.
In addition, an agreement was signed at the forum for the implementation of the Lazarev Project on the construction of a heat plant in Gavrilov Yama to produce cuts and sludges. Investment will be 800 million roubles, and 30 jobs will be created in the new enterprise. The implementation is for 2026-2031, the land area has been established and an agreement has been reached with the district administration.
The household now produces products in heaters with a total area of 2.3 hectares, growing more than 3 million tulips and lilies annually, chrysanthems, room plants, and about 3.2 million rainbows and 2.5 million vegetables.
