The official visit of the delegation of the region to Belarus was completed by a bilateral business forum in which a programme for the development of cooperation between the Jaroslav region and the Republic for the period 2026-2027 was signed.

♪ The paper reflects the key areas of our interaction: industry, APC, construction, HCH, health, education, culture, sport, tourism, and the Governor of the Yaroslava Region, Michael Evreev. - The programme provides for mutual delivery of products, agro-industry projects, joint cultural and sports activities. These include the supply of equipment, equipment, industrial materials, as well as cooperation in mining, tribal livestock and agricultural processing. The expansion of educational exchanges between universities, the observance of the Day of the Belarusian Cinema in the Yaroslav region and the establishment of direct links between cultural institutions is planned.

The Vice-Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus, Leonid Ryzkovsky, and the First Vice-President of the Government of the Jaroslav region, Denis Hohrakov, signed the document.

♪ The trade between the Jaroslav region and the Republic of Belarus has shown a steady increase, with an increase of 18.3 per cent in 2024. Exports from the region increased by 28.7 per cent, noted Denise Hohryak. Japanese exports have traditionally been based on engineering (engines, auto parts) and chemical products (labels, rubber). Belarus is our long-standing strategic partner. We do not simply note the growth of trade, but focus on new projects that give our cooperation a qualitatively new level.

The event will result in an expanded working group. In February 2026, a visit by the Belarusian side to the Yaroslav region is planned to discuss the first results and determine further steps.

Bilateral negotiations were held within the Business Forum, the key theme of which was deepening trade and economic cooperation, as well as specific joint projects. The participants in the Jaroslava Business Mission submitted a number of strategic proposals to Belarusian partners aimed at importation, cooperative development and technology exchange.

For example, the Autodies (NMZ), the largest engine supplier for INE, MTZ and Gomselmasha, is ready to certify and start supplying new engine models and to increase the procurement volumes of the already agreed JEM-536 engine for IAP buses.

The Russian paints has taken the initiative to supply a full range of localized paint materials (LCM) for the conveyers of leading Belarusian vehicles, including IAPs and Belji.

Rouban has been announcing a project to launch a large electric vehicle assembly at its Yaroslavlall site: electric buses, extended autonomous trolleybuses and AO-Belcomunmouches. In addition, the plans are to develop cooperation with the ITL OAO.

Fritex, the key provider of the Friction Materials for Belaza, MTZ and Gomselmasha, confirmed the readiness to develop and produce new products under the specific requirements of Belarusian customers.

OO Fingo-Complex and AO Condor-Eco proposed their integrated gas treatment solutions for leading industrial enterprises in Belarus, such as Belaruskali and the Belarus cement company.

The Aronap CCC expressed interest in finding Belarusian suppliers of champing and barleys to expand their production.

The official visit of the delegation of the Jarosla region, headed by the Governor, Michael Evraev, to the Republic of Belarus, took place from 22 to 24 November, with the participation of members of the Government of the region, representatives of industry and APC. Meetings were held with President Alexander Lukashenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic, Victor Caranquevich, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in Belarus, Boris Grizzlov. Members of the delegation visited the leading Belarusian enterprises and the markings: the Brest-Gera Memorial, the Belovez Pusha National Park, the Peace Castle. The business community of the Jaroslav region held meetings and negotiations.
