As a result of the first quarter of 2024, high-technology SMEs attracted concessional funding under the Government ' s " Start-to-IPO " programme, totalling 2.9 billion roubles. Over two and a half years, more than 230 SMEs entered into credit contracts totalling 38 billion roubles for their business development. The Programme Operator of the SME Corporation provides credit at a preferential rate of 3 per cent annually through SME daughters. Credit applications are submitted through the ICP.RF Digital Platform.

Entrepreneurs engaged in research, development and production of equipment, metal processing and computer software development became leaders. The largest number of credit contracts were concluded with companies from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Perm, Republic of Tatarstan and the Tomsk region.

" The achievement of technological sovereignty in critical industries remains the focus of the State ' s attention, as reflected in the national objectives of the new economic cycle. In the supply economy, high-technology SMEs can become a driver. Our task is to provide such enterprises with the best possible support tools”, noted by the Chairman of the Bank ' s ICP Observatory, the Director-General of the SME Corporation, Alexander Isaevich.

" At the beginning of the year, the financial support programme for high-technology companies was expanded to simplify the application process for enterprises from the ICC registry and to increase the maximum amount of credit to 1 billion roubles. To date, more than half of the applications for credit under this programme are under simplified procedure, which certainly has a positive impact on the development of the technological business potential " , underlined by the chairman of the Ivan Podbereznjak SME Board.

The Bank also provided concessional funding in the amount of 30 million rubies from Fizteh-Energo in the Tom region. The loan contract was simplified because the company refers to the ICC registry (multi-technology companies).

The Novosibir Akademgorodka Technology Support Centre ' s research facility received concessional funding of 40 million roubles for the execution of contracts with the largest and public customers. The enterprise performs aviation and material tests, calculations and simulations of aircraft design elements, and reinvigorates parts of imported energy equipment. The Tupper balloon manufacturing plant received a loan of 100 million roubles under the programme. Funds will be directed towards the purchase of raw materials from Russian suppliers to build productive capacities.
