" On instructions from President Vladimir Putin, the Government has developed a concept for the development of road tourism. As a result of its implementation, the number of such visits will double by 2030, from 26 million to 50 million annually. The concept will create conditions for road travel. Parking, café and hotels will be built in these areas, cellular and road surfaces will be improved. He added that investment projects to build modular hotels in the regions should be selected this year. Priority will be given to facilities located near road tourist routes. A minimum of 5 billion roubles will be funded annually.

In accordance with the mandate of Vladimir Putin, support for the production of domestic vehicles, including automobile, mobile trade facilities, equipment and products for road tourism, will be considered in the near future.
