The guests arriving in the Yaroslav region are getting bigger every year.

As a result of the 2025 summer season, the Yaroslav region entered the top 10 regions of the country on the tourist attraction index. In order to attract tourists, the region is working in several directions. A saturated development agenda is being developed, which, inter alia, now includes the activities of the YarZima project in all districts, modernizes the hospitality infrastructure. During the summer, there are visits to the Volga on the Beloyar Kataran, the Jaroslavlav has been launched by cars and two-storey tour buses, and tourist navigation has been improved. Travel along the unique route of the Meadow Trop is no longer available only in Yaroslav, but also in Rostov the Great.

In 2025, 16 modular hotel projects were approved with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development. This is almost 2 billion investment roubles and over 1,000 new numbers by 2027. Up to 2030, investors plan to build at least 10 modern hotels.

The upgrade of the Golden Ring Airport will provide a major boost to tourism development. Private investment will introduce new terminals with a capacity of up to 1 million passengers and 50,000 tons per year. The airstrip will be reconstructed with federal support.
