On 13 November, the first meeting of the updated composition of the Public Council of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation was held. The head of the General Russian Public Organization, Alexei Repik, was elected Chairman of the Council and replaced by the Dean of the Economic Faculty of the MGU, Mr. V. Lomonosov, Alexander Ausan.

The State Secretary, Deputy Minister for Economic Development, Alexei Hersons, opened the meeting by thanking Alexandra Ausan for his productive work and helping to form a strong team. " In three years of work, we have dealt with 60 issues, of which 32 concerned normative acts directly related to the Ministry ' s activities. The Chairman of the previous Council, Alexander Ausan, played a significant role in this regard. Among the results of the work of the Deputy Minister was the joint meeting of the public councils of the Ministry of Economic Development and FAS, which discussed the current problems in the regulation of digital platforms.

Alexei Hersonsov emphasized that the tasks of the Ministry of Development were extensive, including an operational and strategic " station " . Governments to formulate economic policies aimed at achieving sustainable development while maintaining macroeconomic stability.
Alexei Repic thanked colleagues for their confidence and assured that he intended to continue the intensive work tradition of the previous Public Council. He noted that " the key objective of the Council ' s work was to communicate to the authorities the position of the public, the business and expert community " .

The elected President of the Council emphasized the importance of the role of the Ministry of Economy in achieving the national goals set by the President. " It is important to enable the Ministry to obtain timely expert feedback, to assist in analysing the regulations adopted by the Ministry in order to improve the productivity and efficiency of the agency " , he emphasized.

The monitoring of the new national project " Efficient and Competitive Economy " will be the main priority for the work of the Public Council, concluded by Alexei Repik.
