In the three quarters of 2024, the total purchase of government companies from self-employed was 8.13 billion roubles. Compared to the same period of 2023, it had grown more than 1.5 times. The number of such suppliers increased by 20 per cent.

" The continuing increase in self-employed procurement is facilitated by the extension of the preferences that small and medium-sized businesses have in procurement. This decision has clearly facilitated the participation of self-employed persons in the 223-FZ procurement process and helped to increase their volume by 54 per cent in the year to 8.13 billion roubles. The number of self-employed procurement participants, now more than 7,000, has also been growing, and the Director-General of the SME Corporation, Alexander Isaevich, has noted.

The list of self-employed procurement regions in the three quarters of 2024 was headed by Moscow (more than 1.38 billion roubles), followed by the Kur region (1.15 billion roubles), the Moscow region (0.65 billion roubles), St. Petersburg and the Republic of Bashkortostan (0.51 and 0.35 billion roubles respectively).

" The largest increase in the procurement volume of self-employed persons occurred in the Kur region (+1.1 billion roubles), St. Petersburg (+317.7 million roubles) and the Republic of Bashkortostan (+243.6 million roubles). The top-5 of the RF entities also included the Sverdlov region (+201.3 million roubles) and the Moscow region (+188.9 million roubles) added Alexander Isaevich.

In the three quarters of this year, self-employed persons received the support services related to financial intermediation and insurance, more than 3 billion roubles (37.2 per cent of total self-employed procurement), professional, scientific and technical services -- almost 0.6 billion roubles (7.1 per cent), creative, art and entertainment services -- over 0.5 billion roubles (6.5 per cent), construction services --

With the increase in procurement volumes by the third quarter of 2023, security services are administered, a 7-fold increase (+159.3 million roubles). Legal and accounting services purchased almost five times more from self-employed (+166.8 million roubles), support services related to financial intermediation and insurance services, almost three times more (+1984 million roubles).

Procurement of specialized construction services increased almost twice (+196,9 million roubles) and professional, scientific and technical services 1.5 times (+201.9 million roubles).

Since 2019, almost 3,000 major customers have entered into contracts with more than 17,000 self-employed persons. The total was 20.7 billion roubles, the average price of the contract was almost 610,000 roubles.

It will be recalled that self-employed persons can participate in 223-FZ procurement under the same conditions as small and medium-sized businesses as of 1 April 2020. Support for self-employed persons is one of the key areas of business support for the Maloe and Middle Entrepreneurship Project, which was launched by President Vladimir Putin.
