The Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects (hereafter, ASI) supports the International BRICS Solutions Awards (hereafter, the Competition), which is held annually by the Presidency of BRICS.

In 2025, the National Industrial Confederation of Brazil co-organized the Competition.

Purpose - Identify future technological projects in BRICS countries.

In 2025, the competition focused on innovative solutions to sustainable development challenges, including addressing climate change, environmental sustainable development and the effective use of natural resources.

Transcursion Nominations:

• Bioeconomic;
• Energy transition;
• Digital transformation for sustainable development;
• Closed cycle economy;
• Food security and sustainable production;
• Innovative financial instruments for sustainable development.

Participation in the competition is free, applications in English are received by 23 May 2025 at the official website https://bbcbrazil.org/brics-solutions-awards, and are invited to:

• Commercial organizations;
• State institutions;
• Authorities and local government;
• non-profit organizations and associations
• Individuals from BRICS countries.

The competition ' s finalists will be awarded through the BRICS Business Forum in July 2025 in Rio de Janeiro (Federal Republic of Brazil).
