New railway routes make travel on the Jaroslav region more comfortable

The meeting of the Government of the Jaroslava Region today focused on the development of rail transport in the region.

♪ We're doing a smooth job, working closely with the RCD. The success of joint projects was noted by the Governor of the Yaroslava Region, Michael Evravev. - It is important for us to establish a modern transport system where there are comfortable and fast track trains, convenient suburban communications and an effective light subway inside the city.

From 20 December, from Yaroslav and Rybinsk to the North Capital City, it will be possible to travel on the two-stage train of the Costam, St. Petersburg. Until 12 January, he will be heading daily, followed by Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Negotiations are under way with the RCD to add Friday and Saturday.

Proposals are also being developed for the JRC along the Jaroslavl-Moscow route. Mikhail Evravev stressed that it was important to increase the number of trains and reduce travel time. The possibility of launching a two-storey train on this route and organizing additional flights to the Perslav-Zaleska is considered in parallel.

The meeting also discussed the development of peri-urban and urban railways. In particular, the " I am a light metro " project, which has been implemented in Yaroslav since 1 July. Ten additional electric trains have been added in the city, linking Zawalz and Frunzen districts to the centre. In order to make this work more effective, the Governor has instructed the line ministry to conduct a thorough analysis of the passenger traffic by clock.

♪ As a follow-up to colleagues from the RCW, we will work on the route to make travel as comfortable as possible for the residents and guests of Yaroslava, said Michael Evreev.
