New imported substitute drugs will begin to be produced in the Yaroslav region
Agreements to develop the production of R-Farm in Rostov Great and Jaroslav are now concluded at the Petersburg International Economic Forum. Details were provided by the Governor of the Jaroslava Region, Michael Evreev.
♪ The project aims to organize a full cycle of imported medicines in the Yaroslav region. They are designed to prevent and treat infectious, oncological, neurological and autoimmune diseases, reported by Michael Evreev. - Under the agreements concluded, new production sites will be set up at the Rostov plant in the Great and the existing supply lines in Yaroslav will be provided. This will make a significant contribution to our country ' s drug security.
Products will be delivered by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, the regional health authorities and health-care institutions.
♪ The Yaroslav region is the key to the location of our research and production assets, and the Director-General of Ra Farm Vasili Ignatiev emphasized. - There are several of our factories, and there are specific educational projects. The new agreement on further development of pharmaceuticals in the region strengthens local industrial capacities, provides new jobs and facilitates the uninterrupted supply of advanced medicines.
The expansion and refining of R-Farm production sites will be carried out with the participation of the Industrial Development Fund, which has already supported over 40 projects in the Yaroslav region, totalling 26 billion roubles.
- FRP will provide R-Farm with a concessional loan of 550 million roubles per year for the production of a full cycle of essential and essential drugs. They are used in the treatment of dispersed sclerosis, the prevention of pneumococcal infections and tumours. Today, they are supplied from abroad, the project will make imports domestically available. The total investment in the project would exceed 1.5 billion roubles, noted by the Director of the FRP, Roman Petrutz.
Background
The Industrial Development Fund was established to modernize the Russian industry, organize new productions and provide import substitution. FEM programmes enable Russian enterprises to access concessional loan financing necessary for the launching of the production of unique domestic products, as well as analogs for advanced international development. The Fund provides loans for 3 and 5 per cent of the year to 7 years, ranging from 5 million to 2 billion roubles, encouraging direct investment in the real economy.
R-Farm is a Russian pharmaceutical company specializing in research, development, production and distribution of medicines, laboratory equipment and medical equipment. There are existing production sites in Yaroslav, Rostov, Great, Costrom province, production facilities in Germany, Azerbaijan and other countries.
