Today, 26 May, on Russian Entrepreneurship Day, the Yaroslava province launched the " Potoc " Business Week, a key development for the region ' s business community. Activities will take place on several sites in Yaroslav and Rostov, the Great: participants are waiting for panel discussions, marketing and branding workshops, local product exhibitions, non-conventional sessions and expert consultations.

♪ Russia celebrates the Business Day today. In the Yaroslav region, the holiday concerns over 54,000 small and medium-sized businesses and over 135,000 self-employed. The number is growing annually. This means that conditions have been created in the region for the opening of a case, whether for the production or delivery of services, by the Governor of the Yaroslav region, Michael Evreev. - In 2025 alone, the turnover of small and medium-sized enterprises was almost 690 billion roubles, income from total income taxes increased by 9.5 per cent. This is a serious contribution to the economy and employment of the Yaroslav region. At the government level, we support the business initiative, expand the types of assistance, participate in the organization of key events for the business community.

As a result of 2025, small and medium-sized businesses are positive for virtually all key indicators. The number of SME entities in the region increased by 1,650 and exceeded 52.5 thousand. The number of workers in this sector, including IPs and self-employed, was over 270,000, with an increase of almost 10 per cent. It is the small and medium-sized business that works in the third economy.

♪ Today, we provide small and medium-sized enterprises with financial, material, engineering, export, information and advisory, educational and other forms of assistance. In 2025, over a billion roubles were directed to SME support, taking into account the loans and sponsorship of the Enterprise Support Fund, and the First Vice-President of the Government of Denise Horak. - At present, the capitalization of the fund is over 1.2 billion roubles. In the first quarter of 2026, the SME Support Fund helped entrepreneurs to attract record 420 million roubles.

The programme of each day of the Entrepreneurship Week has a separate theme. On 26 May, a panel discussion was held on " Business and business: past, present, future " , presentation of the region ' s business clubs and the start-ups ' pit-teaching show with valuable inputs from partners. On 27 May, emphasis will be placed on creative industries: there will be design and branding workshops, as well as local product sales. On 28 May, participants will learn about the trends in digital platforms and receive personal consultations. On 29 May, Rostov Great will hold a closing ceremony and a reward for active representatives of SMEs.

♪ Our main challenge is to create conditions for the success of SME actors, as business ensures the financial stability and socio-economic development of the region, noted by Alexander Olkhov, Minister of Investment and Industry of the Yaroslava Region. - The activities of the week have traditionally helped participants identify growth vectors, find new partners and obtain practical tools to advance their business.

Participation in all educational activities of the week is free of charge, but pre-registration is required on the " memocine " site.
