The Deputy Minister for Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Tatiana Ilumshnikova, addressed the II Economic Development Ministers of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

The meeting discussed the preliminary results of the national project " Small and Medium Enterprise " , as well as the dominance of the SME sector until 2030.

Currently, small and medium-sized businesses can use support tools for the national project " Small and medium-sized enterprise " . These are concessional loans, leasing, promotion of product marketing, preferential terms of participation in procurement, etc. More than 400 subsidiaries of the Moy Business Centres in 88 regions, 95 government microfinance organizations and 91 regional guarantee organizations, and 62 industrial parks have been built. The existing support infrastructure has helped to achieve all the indicators of the Maloe and Middle Entrepreneurship Project: there are 6.5 million SME entities in Russia, and one third of the employed population is employed in the sector. The national project is being completed in 2024.

" Since 2025, small and medium-sized businesses will be able to receive support for a new " Efficient and Competitive Economy " project under a separate federal project. To achieve the national objectives set by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, until 2030, the system of dominance will focus on the qualitative growth of the sector. A key indicator is the 1.2 times higher income per employee of the SME entity than GDP growth. Also, the qualitative growth of SMEs will be the transition of enterprises from their category to higher, from micro to small, from small to medium, from medium to large. To support small and medium-sized businesses, the Government of the Russian Federation has allocated more than 308 billion roubles. " Tatiana Ilushnikov noted.

According to the Deputy Minister, some measures to support small and medium-sized businesses would be retained, while others were placed under the current tasks of the Russian economy. The main objective II of the Congress of Ministers of Economic Development of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation is to download regional teams to this work, to help professionals find new approaches to work with SMEs.
