Funding from the federal budget of the National Family project will be about 18 trillion roubles until 2030. This was reported to journalists by the Vice-President of the Government of Tatiana Golikov.

"In six years until 2030, we're going to do this, to support the national Family project, and we're going to send nearly 18 trillion roubles. About 8.5 trillion roubles will be used in the first three years. These figures are already budgeted. They're all in the field, she said when she visited the Integrated Centre for Social Services of the Population of the Moscow Region of St. Petersburg and discussed the Silver Age Project.

Governor Petersburg Alexander Beglov stressed that the President of Russia had denounced the launch of a new national project on long and active life. Golikova noted that best practices were collected at the integrated social service centre of the population of the Moscow region. The Silver Age project will be implemented on three fronts: increasing access to health care for citizens of silver age, increasing opportunities for their participation in leisure activities and creating new opportunities for their participation in the cultural life of the city.

In Petersburg, there are 418 sites for the elderly, based on 145 public institutions in various industries. There are 18 integrated social services centres in the city. Many need to expand the area, so 18 district and 4 city Silver Centres are envisaged. Every senior-age recruiter will be able to use their services freely and free of charge, without reference to his place of residence. Large urban centres with basins, sports sites, studios will be built in the Primorsk, Krasnogvard, Nev and Frunzen regions, as well as in the Krasnosel and Kirov regions. Eight new regional centres will also be built. In the remaining areas, the existing integrated centres will receive new space, repair and finish.
