The small and medium-sized business from the tourism and hospitality industry in the nine months of 2024 attracted over 30 billion roubles with the assistance of the National Guarantee System (NSS). Financial support is provided in accordance with the Mala and Middle Entrepreneurship Project. However, the number of recipients of loans with NSA tools has more than doubled compared to the same last year. The Minister of Economic Development of Russia, Maxim Rechetnikov, spoke on the fields of the Congress of Ministers of Economic Development of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

He also noted that, as of 1 October, 74,800 SME entities were registered in hotel and tourism.

" This year ' s interest in the opening of tourism continues. In nine months, about 9,000 ICP tourism entities have been established, i.e. each of the eight active. In the tourist regions, the share of small and medium-sized companies is becoming significant. In the Republic of Altai, for example, they represent 7.8 per cent of the total, in the Kampchai Krai, 4.4 per cent, in the Karachaevo-Cherkes Republic, 3.8 per cent, noted Maxim Rechetnikov.

The leaders in this indicator also include the Republic of Kareliyah, Murmansk region, the Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol, Krasnodar province.

In addition to using NSA tools, business actively attracts funds under umbrella sponsorship.

" According to nine months of this year, the number of beneficiaries of zontical sponsorship from tourism has reached 1,742, a 3.5 times higher than in the same period of 2023. At the same time, lending increased by 1.9 times and exceeded 13.2 billion roubles, Alexander Isaevich stated.

The Turism and Hospitality Project supports investment in tourism infrastructure. The concessional lending programme has already introduced 3,2,000 numbers in 3-5 star hotels. A total of 51,000 numbers were supported. The programme also introduces new entertainment facilities that can reach up to 21 million people per year. Of these, nine parks, three entertainment parks and nine projects to build infrastructure for mining resorts. The modular hotel subsidy programme has introduced nearly 8,000 numbers, of which half are in the year. By the end of the year, the regions should issue more than 8,000 more numbers.

In the tourism sector, 234,000 workers are employed in small and medium-sized companies. An additional 69,000 self-employed citizens provide temporary residency services, a procate and a tour guide.

The development of Russian small and medium-sized business from the tour is carried out within the framework of the Turism and Hospitality Projects and the Maloye and Middle Entrepreneurship, which were initiated by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin.
