A total of over 81.8 billion roubles received small and medium-sized business in the first quarter of this year with the help of the " ozone " sponsorship of the SME Corporation. Compared to the same period in 2023, the funds received increased 2.6 times.

In the first quarter of 2024, Moskva became regional lenders under the " umbrella " of the SME Corporation (4.3 billion roubles, +262%), St. Petersburg (6.7 billion roubles, +189%), Rostov province (4.1 billion roubles, +653%), Moscow province (4 billion roubles, +110%), Voronez region (3.29%). Ten leaders also included the Sverdlov region (2.8 billion roubles, +107%), the Krasnodar province (2.5 billion roubles, +109%), the Novosibir region (2.1 billion, +196%), the Republic of Tatarstan (1.5 billion, +62 per cent) and the Krasnoyar province (1.5 billion, +153 per cent).

The " umbrella " sponsorships help micro, small and medium-sized businesses to attract credit financing in the absence or insufficiency of the deposit. They provide up to 50% of the credit. One sponsorship can reach 1 billion roubles up to 15 years. Entrepreneurs, through the " ozone " mechanism, receive credit for investment purposes, revolving revolving, developing an enterprise or refinancing credit.

We recall that the " zone-based " sponsorship mechanism was launched on instructions from President Vladimir Putin in 2021. It is being implemented within the framework of the " Maloye and Middle Entrepreneurship " project, which is co-chaired by the Vice-President of the Government of the Russian Federation, Alexander Novak.
