The small and medium-sized business of the new regions, through the " ozone " sponsorship of the SME Corporation, attracted 770 million bank financing in 9 months of 2024.

" Since the beginning of the year, 274 contracts have been concluded in new regions under the concessional lending programme (Government Decision No. 888). Of these in the Donetsk People ' s Republic, 138, with a total of 442 million roubles, 80 for 231 million roubles in the Lugan People ' s Republic, 42 for 68 million roubles and 14 for 29.4 million roubles in Herson province, the Director General of the SME Corporation, Alexander Isaevich, stated. He stressed that enterprises continued to invest actively in upgrading and developing productive capacities.

In the industry structure, the largest financial support was sought by SMEs in the areas of trade and auto repair, agricultural activities, transport and storage of goods, manufacturing and construction.

We recall that the " ozone " sponsorship of the SME Corporation covers up to 50 per cent of the bank credit and enables the entrepreneur to obtain it even without the necessary collateral. The amount of " ozone " credit in the new regions is up to 50 million roubles and is available at a preferential rate up to 10 per cent of the annual subsidy programme of the Ministry of Economic Development. This tool of dominance was launched in 2021 and is being implemented through the national project " Small and Medium Enterprise " .
