The Bank, together with the Territory Development Fund, launched a concessional lending programme for new regions
The Bank has launched a new concessional lending programme for the small and medium-sized business of the Donetsk People ' s Republic, the Lugan People ' s Republic, the Zaporoz and Herson regions. Entrepreneurs will be able to obtain between 1 million and 2 billion roubles from the subsidiary bank of the SME Corporation at a rate of up to 15 per cent per annum. The company ' s status as a resident of the free economic zone of the new regions is a prerequisite for the programme implemented by the Territory Development Fund.
" The private programme has been designed to implement investment projects aimed primarily at rehabilitating the infrastructure of new regions. For resident entrepreneurs of the free economic zone, the process of applying for concessional credit is no different from the standard SME process of the Bank. The system itself automatically reviews compliance with the programme. Already in the process of working together with the Fund for the Development of Territories, we have started to collect business applications and there are a number of projects that are in the process of structuring transactions”, noted by the Director General of the SME Corporation, Chairman of the ICP Monitoring Board of the Bank of Alexander Isaevich.
" The Bank has become one of the first to start work in the NPD, the LLR, the Herson and the Zaporac regions. To date, small and medium-sized businesses operating in new constituent entities of the FM have received credit and guarantee support worth approximately 3.5 billion roubles. In doing so, most of the credits are provided through concessional programmes, enabling entrepreneurs to implement business plans more quickly and create jobs. The launching of a joint programme with the Territories Development Fund is a logical step in our sustained efforts to increase the financial support of entrepreneurs in new regions " , emphasized by the Chairman of the Ivan Podbereznjak Board of the ICP.
" The programme of concessional lending to the members of the free economic zone in the new regions has been developed by the Fund for the Development of Territories, coordinated by the Ministry of Construction of Russia. To date, agreements have been concluded with four banks that are ready to implement it with us. The programme provides for loans from 1 million to 5 billion roubles at a preferential rate of 10 per cent below the current market. The difference between the rates would be compensated by the banks through federal budget grants.” Commented by Ilshat Shagihmetov, Director-General of PPC.
We will recall that the Bank ' s SMEs are involved in the implementation of the Mala and Middle Entrepreneurship Project and in support of the individual business initiative. He was initiated by President Vladimir Putin.
