Michael Evravev briefed the Mayors ' Schools on the development strategy for the Yaroslav region

On 23 March, the fourth module of the Municipal Human Resources Management Reserve " Mayors ' School " programme was launched in Yaroslavlav for the fifth participant flow. The commemoration was addressed by the Governor of the Yaroslava Region, Michael Evreev, who presented the development strategy for the region.

♪ The Jaroslav region has been chosen by no accident for training. The Mayors ' School programme has been developed on behalf of the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, and is being implemented by the Supreme School of Public Administration (HSU) of the Presidential Academy, with the support of the Office of the President of the Russian Federation and the All-Russian Association for Local Self-Government Development (WARSU). Seventy-nine out of the country ' s 65 regions are trained in the fifth flow. These include Deputy Head of the Borisogleb Municipal District of Alexandra Tso and Deputy Chief of Administration of the Rybin Municipal District of Olga Bakhtina.

The Director of the President ' s Academy, Oleg Condratenco, noted that the Jaroslav region was a powerful industrial cluster with a developed industry. Here, the Mayors ' Schools will be familiar with best practices in economic and investment.

The region is well located at the intersection of key transport flows, close to the Moscow market and has significant tourist potential. In terms of investment growth, the region is one of the country ' s leaders, with both established enterprises and new investors successfully developing, Oleg Kondratenko said. - The programme will have a chance to familiarize itself with the tools for creating an enabling business environment and examples of effective cooperation between the authorities and the business that can be used by the municipal and regional teams.

The training module will extend until March 26th. Theme is the economy and finance of municipalities. The programme is lectures and classrooms of federal and regional experts, exercises, guided tours of Jaroslav and Rybinsk, as well as major enterprises in the region.

The Minister of Finance of the Jaroslav province of Alexei Dolov and Deputy Mayor of Yaroslava, Director of the Finance Department of the Mayor of Yaroslava Andrei Danz, will inform participants about budgetary policies and the management of income, debt and payables. The Minister of Tourism of the Jaroslava Region and, on the Minister of Culture of the Yaroslav Region of Svetlana Kostsina, will devote his statement to the thriving creative economy, the Deputy Minister of Tourism of the Jaroslava Region of Marina Julin, the development of tourism and the hospitality industry. The Deputy Minister of Investment and Industry of the Jaroslava Region, Alexei Shelepov, will report on the role and role of IAS in the municipal investment standard.

It is also planned to meet with the Mayors ' Schools, the head of the Higher Municipal District of Jaroslava province, Alexei Shutov, and the Chief of the Zawlaz Territorial Administration of the Yaroslava Municipality of Natalia Asastina. " Mayors ' School " is an annual modular vocational training programme for highly qualified managers for Russian municipalities. The training consists of thematic modules in different regions of the country. As a promulgation, each trainee should identify and optimize an inefficient process in its municipality, branch of government or organization and present the result of changes at the end of the programme.
