The Ministry of Transport supported 3 projects of participants in the Motor Vehicle Industry Cluster, in accordance with Government Decision No. 1649 of 12 December 2019 (provision of a grant for compensation for part of the cost of R & D in modern technology as part of innovative projects).

Support was provided to the GS Field Systems Company (Ms. Toliatti, Samara Region) to implement the project " Creating the production of steering offices with electric power for light and light commercial vehicles " .

The project aims to develop the design, manufacturing technology and production of serial production critical to the domestic carriage of kits, river-type steering equipment with a steering force, as well as a steering machine with a built-in electric power force on the light, light commercial vehicles and electric vehicles.

As this technology can be adapted to various steering modifications, the supported project will play an important role in localization in the Russian Federation of one of the most complex vehicle control hubs, increase the capacity of domestic components in Russian automobiles and increase export capacity.

In addition, the project plans to establish its own modern engineering and steering testing centre. This project provides for the design and construction of special test and laboratory equipment, as well as the importation of engineering services for the validation of steering systems previously carried out in European centres BOSCH, ZF et al.

The package of these measures will improve the quality of products, competences and autonomy in the design, testing and marketing of new products not only the Russian Federation but also the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan. Support is also expressed for the project of the Vazinter Service (Mr. Toliatti, Samara Region) - " Technologies for the production of harmonized innovative hydraulic light vehicle braking systems and LCV that meet global standards of quality and reliability " .

The project includes the development of domestic competences for the design, testing and production of components and subcomponents of light vehicle brake systems to a level corresponding to world analogs.

Local vacuum brakes with the main brake cylinder assembly adapted to the ABS, ESP/ESC systems, the rear drum brakes will be replaced by the previously used manufacturer ' s facilities from non-friendly countries. The SAAZ Complekt (Ms. Skopin, Ryazan Region), in turn, is launching a project entitled " Technologies for the development and development of modern telescopic effluents, suspensions and gas springs " .

The key objectives of the project are to develop its own engineering base and expand the full-cycle test capacity. This will enhance the company ' s ability to validate both imported products and new products for domestic motor producers.

New developments in the Complekt SAAZ are replaced by foreign components of Tenneco, Mando, Stabilus. Under the agreed R & D grant agreements, the total amount of support to three projects would be more than 300 million roubles.

It will also be recalled that, in order to implement new investment projects on importation of nationally important components of the automotive industry, concessional loans from the Industrial Development Fund are available under the specialized Autocomponent Programme. Since its launch in 2022, 43 projects worth about 80 billion roubles have been funded.
