Artificial intelligence in Russia develops in global trends. We are at the 4th location on the number of large-scale models and 10th on the combined power of all supercomputers that are used to create and train the most artificial intellect (II).

During the plenary session of the National Priorities " Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the State " , which was held at the Rosia Exhibition Forum, the Deputy Minister for Economic Development, Maxim Kolesnikov, said this. According to him, since 2019, the Government of the Russian Federation has been active in the development of the EI ecosystem. The implementation of the federal " Arts " project of the national project " Digital Economy " has yielded significant results.

In particular, the II solution market has been established: the video analyzer detects up to 95 per cent of the marriages at the workplace, the pre-feasibility analysis assesses the progress of construction and installation work, up to 15 per cent increase the amount of harvests collected through the use of agricultural equipment from II, and the freight forwarding work by a third reduces the delivery time.

" In general, the level of implementation of IE technology in industries has grown 1.5 times over the past two years, and a number of these have shown breakthrough results. Much of this has been made possible by the fact that we have companies -- leaders in IE, strong personnel, a rapidly developing science school and a high level of basic mathematical education -- emphasized Maxim Kolesnikov, adding that, with the State ' s support for business initiatives, basic IE tasks have been achieved over the past few years.

The updated National Strategy for the Development of Identity to 2030, approved by the President, should support further technological developments.

At the same time, at least 80 per cent of workers in different sectors of the economy will have to have II skills.

" We expect that the implementation of all the activities set out in the strategy will enable Russia to enter the five countries of the world by 2030 on the basic metrics of II. Now, not only to maintain positions, but also to improve them, given the growing competition at the business and State levels, " , Maxim Kolesnikov noted.

A number of activities have already been envisaged in the updated " Arts Intel " project. Grant support will improve the development and implementation of IP solutions, and an increase in the number of relevant data sets will lead to the development of II models.

The financing of fundamental and applied research by scientific communities and preferential access to computing capacities will ensure the competitiveness of domestic II decisions and the building of State leadership in this industry, has been supported by Maxim Kolesnikov.
