" In Russia, more than 7.7 million students are enrolled, and internships continue to be one of the most convenient forms of employment, where the employer and a young specialist can look at each other. In the face of a shortage of personnel, an increasing number of companies opt for internships: the number of vacancies that include this type of interaction increased by 68 per cent in 2024 compared with the previous year. In order to involve young people in the economy, we have extended our partnership with SuperJob and Rosmolege. In 2024, in the first wave of its implementation, employers received feedback from 4,000 young professionals.” The Deputy Minister for Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Tatiana Ilumshnikov.

Vacancy should be in line with the qualified area that the future intern was trained. The programme does not include, for example, announcements of recruitment of riels and couriers. Internship employers will be able to receive free feedback until 30 October 2024.

Aware of the importance of maintaining the Russian labour market in deficit conditions, we decided to extend the event to the beginning of the high season when vacancies become higher, we note the Vice-President for the Development of Strategic Partnerships and for working with young professionals, SuperJob Amir Sarakov.

SuperJob also supports employers with their media resources: they are promoted through company social networks. In addition, SuperJob conducts free webinars with leading Russian experts on the topics of the labour market, changes in labour legislation and human resources.

According to SuperJob, most companies offer jobs to young professionals who have been internships. For employers, hiring young professionals is one of the key ways to smooth the current situation in the labour market.

The career is to help workers find suitable places in different sectors of the economy, mainly in priority sectors, and to maintain sectoral balance. The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and SuperJob carried out a similar activity last year. More than 750 employers participated in the stock, who received more than 2,250 feedback from potential trainees. Most young professionals responded to the vacancies of lawyers, English language teachers and programmers.
