The Minister for Economic Development of Russia, Maxim Rechetnikov, stated this at a workshop in the TPP devoted to Russia ' s foreign economic policy on the priority markets of foreign States.

Foreign trade between Russia and Africa has been steadily increasing for several years. In 9 months of 2024, trade increased by 15 per cent, by 2030 it is expected to grow by 1.5 times as a result of increased exports of wheat, equipment and oil, as well as increased imports of vegetables, fruit, nuts, minerals and chemical products.

The Government ' s focus, he said, was to remove barriers to access of Russian products to the markets of other countries.

" Only this year we have managed to achieve liberalization for Russian suppliers of more than 30 trade rules " , emphasized Maxim Rechetnikov.

Russians exporters of cartridges and khatkas were exempted from protective duties in Uzbekistan, Russian business continued to be able to continue supplying hot-categories to Turkey, his right to adapt to new technical regulations requirements in Azerbaijan and India, and duties for imported Russian vehicles were returned to Viet Nam.

As a result, in 2024, the Ministry of Economic Development supported the export of Russian products by more than 36 billion roubles. In the future, the Ministry plans to improve this indicator by developing alternative dispute resolution tools with friendly countries, so that Russian investors, without trial, can quickly resolve their questions abroad.
