The Minister of Economic Development of Russia, Maxim Rechetnikov, and the Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communication of the Russian Federation, Maxut Shadayev, announced the launch of a new instrument of the Regional Investment Standard, a mechanism for reconnecting with business.

" Operational response to the business community ' s challenges is a key request for business associations. Through the new system, we can quickly learn what business concerns and the challenges faced by investors on the ground. The feedback would improve the business climate of the regions " , noted by the Head of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, Maxim Rechetnikov.

In 29 regions, advice, assistance or problem-solving related to business support and escort, human resources, natural resource use, connectivity to engineering networks, roads, etc. can now be obtained through the feedback platform of the Gosudogue portal.

The deadline for reply, depending on the complexity of the question, would be five, 10 and 30 calendar days. The business response will be able to estimate the scale from 1 to 5 points.

It is important that the new system will be supported by the infrastructure of the Regional Investment Standard: development agencies will monitor the quality of handling communications and identify the most pressing business problems, and they will be addressed by investment committees in heads of regions.

" The publicity of the results of investor issues is also important. We need to show if the problem is solved. The feedback platform is ready, and we plan to involve all regions of the country in the receipt of queries " , underlined by the Head of the Russian Federation, Maxut Shadaev.

On the feedback platform of the Gosugi portal, a new function has been introduced to enable legal entities and individual entrepreneurs to address the most frequent business issues and to receive responses from the regions in a short time frame.

" Business and investors must be treated as quickly as possible. There must be no information vacuum. We need to get back to you quickly. The mechanism would also complement its analyst with an annual quality assurance of the implementation of the Region ' s " , in the view of Alexei Repik, Chairman of the New Russian Federation.

The first system of processing business calls is implemented by the Republics of Bashkortostan, Crimea, Saha, Tatarstan, Udmurt Republic, Krasnodarsk, Perm, Khabarov province, Belgograd, Volgograd, Kaliningrad, Kaluzla, Kurgan, Leningrad, Lippetov, Moskov

By 1 April 2025, the remaining Russian actors are expected to join 30 pilot regions.
