The 4th meeting of the Russian-Chinese Permanent Working Group on cooperation in the field of trade in services was held in the format of a videoconference. 

The Russian delegation was headed by Pavel Kalmychek, Director of the Department for the Development of Bilateral Cooperation of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, and the Chinese delegation was headed by Wang Dongtang, Director of the Department of Trade in Services of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China. 

Pavel Kalmychek noted the positive dynamics of Russian-Chinese trade in services. In 2023, according to the estimates of the experts of the World Trade Organization, mutual trade amounted to more than $ 11 billion. 

During the exchange of views, the parties paid special attention to strengthening cooperation in the field of transport and logistics services, the creative and gaming industries, the production and distribution of animated content, the digital economy, postal services, tourism, cooperation in the field of trade in services within the framework of BRICS, participation in congress and exhibition events in the field of trade in services on the territory of the two countries. 

The Chinese partners supported the proposal of the Russian side to intensify joint efforts within the framework of the working group on the development of cooperation in the fields of insurance, finance and science. 

As part of the Russian delegation, the event was attended by authorized representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Regional Development of Russia, the Government of the Khabarovsk Territory, the State Development Corporation VEB.Russian Federation", Russian Railways, Russian Post, the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, the Association of Animated Films and the all-Russian public organization "Business Russia".
