Mines Development: The export of Russian services to China is increasing through construction, travel and transport

The 4th meeting of the Russian-China standing working group on cooperation in the field of trade in services was held in videoconferencing.

The Russian delegation was headed by Pavel Kalmachek, Director of the Department for the Development of Bilateral Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Development of Russia, Director of the Department of Trade in Services of the ICPD Van Duntan.

Pavel Kalmachek noted the positive dynamics of Russian-Chinese trade in services. In 2023, IWT experts estimated that trade in mutual trade was over $11 billion.

During the exchange of views, the parties focused on strengthening cooperation in the area of transport and logistics services, creative and play industries, the production and distribution of animation content, the digital economy, postal services, tourism, cooperation in services trade within BRICS, and participation in congress and exhibition activities on trade in services in two countries.

The Chinese partners supported the Russian side ' s proposal to intensify joint efforts within the working group on promoting cooperation in insurance, finance and science.

The Russian delegation participated in the event by the authorized representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Digital Affairs, the Ministry of the Development of Russia, the Government of the Khabarov province, the State Development Corporation, the Russian Railways, the Posts of Russia, the Far East Development Corporation and the Arctic, the Association of Animal Films and the Russian General Public Organization, the Russian Federation.
