The Corporation of SMEs and the High School of Business of NISE (UXB) launched a special programme of supplementary education for small technology companies aimed at rapid business growth based on technological innovation. 60 per cent of the cost of the programme for successful participants will be compensated by the SME Corporation.
WSB experts have developed a special intensive programme for small technology companies aimed at rapid growth of innovation-based business. The programme focuses on the real demand of rapidly developing companies that do not meet the requirements of acceleration programmes for start-ups. The Skylar is the main objective of successful and accelerated business expansion.
In six educational modules, participants will study the characteristics of technology marketing, R & D management and technology projects, production management, organizational development, strategic growth issues, economic, financial and investment cluster. During the training, the programme participants will develop a business development road map that ensures the transition to a growth path. Such a map is needed by both companies themselves for effective growth and in negotiations with partners and investors.
" Large technology companies are economic drivers, able to fill the liberated niche, produce the products necessary for our country ' s technological sovereignty. The joint education programme will enable a business that wants to continue to develop new growth points and develop a development strategy " , the Director-General of the SME Corporation, Alexander Isaevich.
As a result of the training, participants will be able to identify new products and technologies for their business, gain an understanding of the exit strategy and choice of product pathways, develop productive cooperation (i.e. in external markets), build partnerships and technological alliances, understand how to scale production and management systems, identify possible risks, and attract the tools of dominance and resources of strategic investors.
The Skylar is a programme for future leaders, national and global champions. For start-ups, there are accelerators who help to stand up and overcome the " death rate " in the early years of business development, and more generally, companies develop themselves. BRC is the key driver of economic growth. But according to statistics, not more than 5 per cent of them are successfully coping with problems of scale. The 15-year experience of the Institute of Innovation Management of the WSB, which is based on the programme, will help participants to move their business to a new level and successfully overcome all the complexities of growth " , notes Dan Medovnikov, Director of the Institute of Innovation Management of the WSB NIS.
The educational process is structured in a format that combines learning with work: participants meet at two-day face-to-face sessions every three weeks, and remotely works on their road map under the leadership of experienced consultants.
Business owners and top managers, key steakholders facing growth through innovation, scaling up and new markets can be programme participants. Details of the terms and conditions of instruction are available on the programme website.
