On 5 September 2025, as part of the visit of the delegation of the diplomatic corps of Latin American and Caribbean States to the Jaroslava region, a round table on cooperation was held. The aim was to strengthen linkages and enhance interaction between the enterprises of the region and Latin American companies.

The round table brought together heads of regional ministries, business community and universities in the field. The Deputy Minister of Investment and Industry of the Yaroslav Region, Andrei Vladimiric Storozev, made a welcome statement.

Participants discussed a wide range of topics related to the prospects for industrial and agricultural development, the promotion of joint educational initiatives, sustainable supply routes and support for the foreign economic activities of small and medium-sized enterprises.

The Director-General of the National Council for the Promotion of Economic Cooperation with Latin America, Tatiana Nikolaevna Maskova, briefed entrepreneurs on the specificities and prospects for cooperation with Latin American States. Completed a series of presentations by José Manuel Vargas, a trade and economic adviser to the Embassy of the Dominican Republic, detailing the possibilities of the Dominican market for Russian producers and exporters.

National and international environmental projects on marine clean-up, bilateral specialized exhibitions and business missions, direct supply of tobacco and coffee, digitalization of domestic and entry tourism in Latin America have become major issues and proposals for cooperation.

♪ Our trade and economic cooperation has been a positive development, and we are interested in its development through specific projects in the areas and areas of industrial equipment, navigation, medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, consumer products, including professional cosmetics and tobacco products, noted by Alexander Eduardovic Olkhov, Minister of Investment and Industry of the Jaroslava Region.

Such activities have helped to increase the international attractiveness of the Yaroslav region, stimulate investment and strengthen the position of domestic exporters in global markets.
