The Jaroslava region has been one of Russia ' s leaders in implementing Regional Export Standard 2.0
The region of Yaroslava came into the top of the Russian Federation, which successfully and fully implemented Regional Export Standard 2.0 after 2025. This is a set of measures and tools developed to support and stimulate the export activities of companies.
At least 13 of the 15 possible instruments should be introduced annually to RF entities. The Yaroslava region has implemented all 15 activities, including foreign market presences, training of export-oriented enterprises and business linkages with potential foreign counterparts.
♪ The full implementation of Regional Export Standard 2.0 is a legitimate result of our systemic work in support of exporting enterprises, noted by Alexander Olkhov, Minister of Investment and Industry of the Jaroslava Region. During the year, we focused on direct contacts of regional producers with foreign buyers, organized business missions and collective participation in international exhibitions. This allows our companies not only to declare themselves, but to enter into specific contracts and develop non-exports.
The development of foreign trade activities is organized in the region through the federal project " System-wide measures for the development of international cooperation and exports " of the national project " International cooperation and export " , initiated by President Vladimir Putin of Russia.
The establishment of direct business negotiations with foreign partners by the Ministry of Investment and Industry and the Export Centre of the Jaroslava Region, with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the region, was a key area. In particular, in 2025, regional producers visited the Republic of Belarus twice, including through an official delegation headed by Governor Michael Evraev. Ten industries and APCs have negotiated with counterparts and have visited leading production, such as IAPs, IAPs and the Belarusian cement combination. During the visit, a meeting was also held with the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, and a bilateral cooperation programme was signed for 2026-2027.
More than 20 Jaroslav companies, with the support of the Export Centre, submitted produce on collective bench at major international exhibitions in Kazakhstan (Kaztraffic), Russia (SouthAgro, Pier Expo), Georgia (Batumi Build), Innoprom. Belarus and Oman (Oman Plast).
The Year ' s Export Days in the Yaroslava Region in December, during which an international procurement session was held. Some 50 local companies negotiated with partners from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia and Tajikistan. Foreign delegations also visited the region ' s industrial sites, and a reverse business visit was organized for business representatives from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Separate meetings focused on the entry of Japanese products to foreign labels.
On 15 December, the Yaroslav Export Centre summarized the year by awarding the best exporters. Sixty-three companies participated in the competition, six winners and six prizes in 12 nominees were identified.
