Over 4.14 trillion roubles totalled the purchase of the largest customers in small and medium-sized businesses under the 223-FZ outcome of the first half of 2024. More than 143,000 vendors made presentations during this period. SMEs.

At the same time, the number of suppliers from small and medium-sized businesses increased by 21 per cent. Procurement leaders from SME suppliers in the regions were Moscow (more than 1,670 billion roubles of procurement), St. Petersburg (almost 387 billion), Tatarstan (about 225 billion), Moscow and Sverdlov regions (about 199 billion and 166 billion roubles, respectively). The same RF entities are also leading a list on the increase in the volume of procurement contracts concluded by SMEs: Moscow (more than 1,116 billion roubles), Tatarstan (more than 175 billion), St. Petersburg (more than 163 billion), Moscow and Sverdlov province (about 100 billion and 79 billion roubles respectively). The Krasnodar province (an increase of over 49 billion roubles), the Republic of Bashkortstan (more than 38 billion roubles), Novosibir and Voronez region (34 billion and almost 28 billion respectively), the Perm (more than 27 billion roubles).

As a result of the first half of the year, the volume of contracts for the purchase of a number of goods, works and services has increased steadily. In particular, financial intermediation and insurance support services exceeded 33 times. More than 21 purchases and services of private households have increased. Almost 16 times more care and accommodation services have been procured. Leaders also have employment and recruitment services, construction, financial and cultural services.

Top of the largest purchase customers from SME vendors, following the first six months of this year, are led by the RCD, the special economic zone Alabouga, Aeroflot, Sberbank, Roséti Moskov region.

It will be recalled that companies with a State are required to make at least 25 per cent of the 223-FZ purchases in small and medium-sized businesses during the year. The SME Corporation and regional governments monitor the implementation of the quota. The volume of procurement is included in the Maloye and Middle Entrepreneurship Project, which was initiated by President Vladimir Putin.
