The annual earnings of social entrepreneurs in Russia were more than 102 billion roubles
As of January 2024, Russia has registered almost 11,000 social enterprises. Of these, 7.8 thousand act as IP, 3.2 thousand as legal entities.

We have said on several occasions that the social business has a woman's face, the relevant data confirm this: over 70 per cent of social entrepreneurs are women. Of the total annual earnings, 17.9 billion are IPs, 84.6 billion are legal entities.
Today, more than 82,000 employees work in social business. In addition, young people are emerging among social entrepreneurs, with 147 individual entrepreneurs under the age of 25.
The Foundation " Our Future " notes that there are several trends in social entrepreneurship in 2024.
" For example, we see a trend towards the introduction of new technologies, in particular artificial intelligence, which is already actively applied in biomedicine, IT and social advertising. Social rehabilitation and prosthetic projects will be increasingly developed in the near future. Another trend is the development of supplementary education, especially remote education. The development of domestic tourism is a promising development. More and more businessmen will start to develop labels as the main destination for their products. In addition, new categories may be created in the social business structure through the development of creative clusters, and in the study plans of universities, the training programmes for social entrepreneurship specialists, was reported by Natalia Zvereev, Director of the Future Foundation.

In Russia, there are a number of support measures for social enterprises under the national project " Maloye and Middle Entrepreneurship " . Thus, social business can receive a grant of up to 500,000 roubles (up to 1 million roubles for the Arctic) for business development. Such entrepreneurs can also obtain micro loans at preferential rates in regional microfinance organizations.

" In 2016, I established a social service centre for the People of Descent in the Hanta-Mansia Autonomous Region. Every year, a " good business " competition is held for social entrepreneurs, organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. The Operator is the State University of Management.
" The competition has been held for the ninth year and has helped to identify best practices in social entrepreneurship. Through the project, we can measure the qualitative growth of social entrepreneurship. This year we received over 3,000 applications, some 900 projects from all over the country went to the regional phase. The applications are now being evaluated by the expert jury, and we've been learning the names of the finalists of the competition in the summer. "
It is worth noting that the share of social entrepreneurship in the region of the total number of social enterprises in the Russian Federation is 0.84%. Total, 92 social enterprises.
