The Federal Tax Service has established Single register of small and medium-sized enterprises Based on income and average number of employees of companies and individual entrepreneurs for the year 2023, data from the Single State Register of Legal Persons, the Single State Register of Individual Entrepreneurs and information from other public authorities and authorized organizations.

In the updated register of 6.2 million small and medium-sized enterprises, an increase of 262,000 SME entities (or 4.4 per cent) over the SME register of 10.07.2023.

The ratio of SME entities to total number of legal entities in force and individual entrepreneurs is 80.8 per cent.

In six months, 2024 Single registry of SME entities 69 million appeals were registered. The use of the SME roster helps the State to better support small and medium-sized businesses and companies and entrepreneurs to choose reliable counterparts.

Creating a comfortable environment for small and medium-sized business is one of the areas of the national project " Small and medium-sized entrepreneurship and supporting an individual entrepreneurial initiative " .
