The Governor ' s Cup of the Yaroslava Region has already brought together more than 35,000 students in the region ' s educational institutions. In the finale, to be held on 26 July, some 200 people from different counties will be fighting for the winner.

On 26 July, the third time in Danilova, the largest regional chess festival, was celebrated by the Governor of the Yaroslav region, Michael Evreev. - The finale of the Governor's Cup is included in the sports program. This is the first regional chess tournament in primary school, amateur athletes and pedagogues.

The " Shahmats to School " project, which is being implemented at the initiative of Mikhail Evraveva, is contributing to this type of sport. According to the Vice-President of the Government of the Vera Dargel region, over 60,000 schoolchildren have already been involved in chess in the Yaroslav region, of whom 26,000 are sports school children.

The Governor ' s Cup at Danilov will be a real holiday of chess of interest to the residents and guests of the region. Apart from the competition, the program is a suited march, star guests, a stage show, various competitions, interactivities for children and adults, craftsmen and musical groups.

Danilov has an informal claim to be the chess capital of Russia. He has a chess board, and in the city, one of the sights is a chess alley created by the painter Vladimir Sereda, with figures showing the type of city of the nineteenth century.
