Russia ' s porcine exports to China since the beginning of 2024 have been 33.800 tons, and as a result of the year, supplies can reach 50,000 tons. A protocol was also signed between the Rosselhossandor and the Chinese GTU on inspection, quarantine and veterinary sanitary requirements for pork exported from Russia to the CPD and an agreed veterinary certificate.

At the end of February 2024, the Chinese competent authority appealed to three Russian companies for the shipment of pork from Russia to China. On 7 March, the agro-industrial holding of the Miratrade reported the shipment of 27 tons of pork to China from the Belgorod region. On 2 April, another Russian enterprise sent to China three consignments of 167.99 tonnes of pigs.
