Dmitri Volvac: Export support centres assisted 422 SMEs
On 14 May, in the city of Innopolis (Republic of Tatarstan) on the " fields " of the International Economic Forum " Russia-Islamic World: KazanForum " , the Deputy Minister for Economic Development of Russia, Dmitri Volvac, participated in a district meeting on the implementation of the national project " International Cooperation and Export " in the constituent entities of the Russian Federal District.
In his statement, the Deputy Minister emphasized that systematic work to improve the conditions of access of domestic products and services to external markets was being carried out by the Ministry of Economic Development and the REC on an ongoing basis.
One of the key mechanisms for interacting with regional exporters is the Export Support Centres (RECs) established under the national SME project.
" Regional RECs provide a wide range of services to entrepreneurs. As a result of 2023, logistics support was provided to 422 SME entities in the amount of 137.8 million roubles, by Dmitri Volvac. - Among the PFI entities following the 2023 results in Top 10 of the finest CPEs were the Samara Region, the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Republic of Tatarstan. The task of the authorities and export support centres this year is to actively engage small and medium-sized businesses in export activities. "
Various support measures are available to Russian exporters to support entrepreneurs in the context of sanctions and can be used by both SMEs and large businesses.
" New support measures have been introduced to assist SME entities in transporting export products to external markets, as well as in the placement and storage of products in temporary holding facilities abroad " , emphasized the Deputy Minister.
Exporting companies can rely on various services from regional RECs, including external economic advice, marketing research, promotion of company information abroad, meetings and negotiations with foreign partners, facilitation of standardization and certification of export products in export contracts.
Bilateral events with foreign partners, organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, are an important instrument to support the development of external economic relations among the regions of the Pyrgy Federal District, which are aimed at promoting specific projects to the foreign markets of friendly countries.
" In the field of business linkages and trade development, the Ministry of Economic Development organizes inter-regional and business forums each year, business council meetings, working group meetings on key issues of cooperation within the bilateral and multilateral framework of cooperation, the Deputy Minister noted. - In 2023 - 2024, 6 interregional forums and conferences were held, as well as meetings of working bodies on interregional cooperation with Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Iran, China, Mongolia, attended by representatives of 50 regions of the Russian Federation, including a number of PFI entities.
In conclusion, Dmitri Volvac noted the positive dynamics of the relationship between PFI entities and foreign partners.
Focused on the need for regions to develop their foreign ties and wished representatives of the regions of the Volga Federal District, at the same time, to continue to increase their exports, in particular in the CIS area and to countries ready to develop mutually beneficial and equitable relations with Russia.
The meeting was attended by the Director-General of the Russian Export Centre, Veronica Nikishin, as well as representatives of the federal authorities and the authorities of the PIF constituent entities.
