The Russian regions have a significant role to play in the national project " Effective and Competitive Economy " , which is being finalized. The Deputy Minister for Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Denis Typsev, spoke at the substantive session of the Moscow Financial Forum.

" The President is charged with maintaining a high rate of economic growth, ensuring that Russia ' s fourth place of GDP is maintained by purchasing power parity. This is the main task that we must reach by the 2030s. To that end, a new model of long-term economic growth, based on the supply economy, was called by the heads of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

He explained that the extension of the long-term proposal would be achieved through a set of different tools. " This is primarily support for domestic production and entrepreneurs, and investment growth. That's the focus of the nazproject. It is also the development of the stock market as a source of investment, increasing productivity, exports and imports. And, of course, the adaptation of the economy to established external and internal challenges and energy flows, " , noted Denise Typsev.

He listed the main elements of the national project structure, stressing that the region had an active role in achieving the planned results. For example, continued support from the My Business Centres will focus on those RF entities where it is most needed. Some 500 million roubles will be allocated annually. Also to support small and medium-sized businesses, the infrastructure of microfinance and regional guarantee organizations established within the framework of SMEs will continue to operate. By the end of 2030, financial support for the mechanism would be at least 250 billion roubles.

The Regional Competence Centres (RCC) network continues to develop within the framework of the Productivity Project. Some 60 constituent entities of the Russian Federation are involved in this work, and new CFCs are also envisaged in the Donetsk People ' s Republic, the Lugan People ' s Republic, the Republic of Kareliyah, the Kostrom region, the Kurgan region and the Pskov region.

" There are many very good examples at the regional level: regions invest additional funds in the development of the Competence Centres, as well as additional support measures for companies to be included in the national project " , reporting to the Deputy Minister.

The Ministry of Economic Development also records a good result of the implementation of the regional investment standard. " It is constantly being refined to take into account the needs of the regions and the positive experience gained. The National Investment Rate is being prepared in conjunction with the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and is presented annually to the CEIP. This tool is also being implemented in the national project, and we continue to work in this direction " , added by Denise Tupsev. Surveys carried out by the Ministry of Economic Development, together with DFS, show that the business climate is united by 46 per cent of companies, which exceeds 2022 by 18 per cent.

" We are working hard with the Council of State commissions that have already met the National Project. Federal projects have been established. As part of the preparation of the federal budget for the second reading, we will present the distribution of grants to the Nazi project by region " , the head of the Ministry of Economic Development.
