On 1 October, the Yaroslavl Industry Day of the Yaroslav Region was held in the Millennium CC. The Government of the Jaroslava Region, the Ministry of Investment and Industry of the region, the Jaroslav Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized the main industrial event. ♪ There are many bright projects in the region. It is through our joint work that opportunities for the development of social infrastructure, public territories and other spheres of life in our region have been increased, that the Minister of Investment and Industry of the Jaroslava Region, Alexander Eduardovic Olkhov, noted. Thanks to the contributions of our enterprises, we can not only support ongoing initiatives but also launch new ones that improve the quality of life of our citizens. The Ministry is always open to new proposals and innovations. In the Yaroslav region, various assistance is provided to industrial enterprises through the " Productivity " and " International Cooperation and Export " projects.

Participants visited a robust business programme: thematic sessions, conferences, industry meetings, presentations and business negotiations. A ceremony was held to award winners of regional competitions.

The " Best practice of mentoring the Yaroslava Region " competition is held for the fourth consecutive year under the national project " Labour productivity " . Its aim is to identify and disseminate successful mentoring practices to increase productivity, improve the quality of products and promote job opportunities among young people. This year ' s first competition took place in the Slavenft-JANOS PAO and the second was the R-Farm Novoselki.

The annual competition " Best Industry in the Yaroslava Region " has been held since 2008 to recognize and promote the achievements of local enterprises. The six sectoral groups identified 15 winners. The leaders of food production were the Jaroslava Licker and Water Plant and Gulbarah Rus, the light industry, the Yaroslava Walya shoe factory and the Cilouette Production and Commercial Company. The Friction and Thermo-resistant AO is recognized as the best in the forest and wood processing industry. In the chemical industry, AO " LITZ " , AO " Jaroslavl-Resinotechnic " , WAO " Yarli Research Company " , AO " Jaroslava Rezin Products Plant " were identified. Last year ' s best exporters were named the Atrus OZ, Filial AO R-FARM, the Yaroslav Medicine Plant, a branch of AO, Codyant, in Jaroslav (Jaroslav tyre factory), and the Jaroslav Stroytech Company.

The event included a cross-sectoral exhibition of industry in the region, where companies from engineering, shipping, chemical and other industries presented their products.

In addition to the exhibitions, guests were able to participate in the thematic session " Cluster policy as a basis for enhancing regional technological sovereignty " .
♪ Particular attention in 2024 is focused on the import substitution agenda. In the face of sanctions, we need to increase domestic production, to replace everything that has happened before and left, the Minister of Investment and Industry of the Jaroslava Region, Alexander Eduardovic Olkhov, shared. The creation of clusters is an effective tool for importation, as it increases the number and scope of government support. In 2023-2024, the Interregional Industrial Clusters of Autocomponents and Industrial Engineering Clusters, established jointly with the Belgorod region, became operational in the region.

The Government of the Jaroslava Region is currently working on the establishment of an interregional industrial biofarm cluster of Farmslaw, with the participation of R-Farm companies.

At the " Industrial Growth Capacities: Best Practices " conference, enterprises in the region presented best training practices and discussed infrastructure and digital solutions, such as staff monitoring systems and information security.

The National Partnership for Subcontracting Development and the Yaroslav Regional Subcontracting Centre organized an interregional subcontract exchange where contracting enterprises and potential commissioners from different regions of the country negotiated.

The day of industry ended with commemorative events where participants were able to exchange experiences and discuss prospects for further industrial development in the region. The event was an excellent opportunity for informal communication and business linkages. The organizers thanked all participants and partners for their active participation and contribution to the development of the industrial capacity of the Yaroslav region.
