Individual Entrepreneurs ' registers in the RF have been completed by a two-year record
In the first quarter of 2024, the number of registered individual entrepreneurs (IPs) in Russia was 240,000. This has become a new record of the number of registrations in the past two years. This is reflected in a study of the Bank ' s business and business analysts, which was introduced on Saturday, 27 April.
According to the EGIP, the number of IP registrations exceeded the number of liquidations by 42 per cent, clarified the analysts.
“In Russia, more people have recently decided to open their own business. This is happening for several reasons. First, the State assists start-up entrepreneurs through various support programmes. Secondly, new digital opportunities are emerging. Online business, sales platforms in the Network, remote work, all of which leads people to think about launching their own project. Thirdly, the opening of business provides an opportunity to control income and to have an additional source of finance. "
Overall, the number of IPs in January and March increased by 1.5 per cent, relatively late in 2023. However, the number of lawns has declined by 0.3 per cent. The ratio between individual entrepreneurs and legal persons is 57 per cent to 43 per cent, compared with 55 per cent to 45 per cent a year ago.
In addition, according to experts, almost all regions of Russia showed an increase in existing companies in the first quarter of the 2024th, relatively late last year. Experts explained that this was due to an increase in the number of entrepreneurs (IPs and law enforcement). The increase in Kalmakia (+3.1 per cent) and the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District (+2.3 per cent in the Republic of Dagestan and + 2.2 per cent in the Chechen Republic) has been particularly observed, which may be related to the lower tax rate.
Analytics formed a top-5 group of Russian-wide classifiers of economic activities, where in the first quarter of 2024 the largest number of new IPs and law enforcements were registered. Leaders: wholesale and retail trade; vehicle and motorcycle repairs 41.1 per cent; construction 10.8 per cent; transport and storage 9.4 per cent; professional, scientific and technical activities 6.7 per cent; manufacturing 5.2 per cent.
