Marketing Support Centre opened in Yaroslavla

On 29 January, the Yaroslav Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry opened the Centre for Supporting the Marking of Goods of the " Glass " system.

- The " fair sign " system, which has been phased out since 2019, has been able to meet a set of challenges, and the first Vice-President of the Government of the Jaroslav region, Denis Hohrakov, noted. - Labels can track the entire product from the producer to the end-user and verify the authenticity of the product, its life and place of production. For business, this reduces the risks associated with counterfeiting, simplifys accounting and reporting processes and control of distribution. The State in turn strengthens the control of trade, improves the efficiency of tax administration and opposes illegal imports and production.

Denis Höhrakov reported that, in 2025, the " fair sign " marking system in the Yaroslav region blocked 9,24679 attempts to sell products that did not meet security and law requirements.

♪ The opening of the support centre is intended to provide a clear and accessible system connectivity to the Jaroslava business by providing a platform for entrepreneurs to receive advice and technical support, he explained.

Thirty-three categories of goods are now mandatory. All companies and individual entrepreneurs who produce or sell them are required to register in the system.

The centre will provide advice on marking-related issues on the basic steps in the system, starting with registration: the filling of cards in the National Catalogue, the printing of labels and EDP construction.

The Centre for the Development of Advanced Technologies is establishing a digital label and traceability system for goods.

♪ To date, there are 30 labelling support centres in operation. The opening of the Jaroslav Centre is a logical step in the development of a regional business support infrastructure, said the head of the Development and Support Department of the Small and Medium-Sized Business Centre for Advanced Technology Development, Maria Ilina. - In 2025 alone, the number of participants in the field has increased by more than 30 per cent. This year, sweet producers, tea, coffee, cocoa, hygienic goods and others will be connected to the system. Our challenge is to make the work of the “North Acquaintance” not a heavy obligation for entrepreneurs, but a clear tool for growth, protection against counterfeit and entry into new markets.
